It is the way the light falls on an unremarkable object and sets it in
scene. It is silhouettes wandering through the photos like ghosts. It
is estranged landscapes which appear like the surreal universe of my
daydreams.
My pictures leave me with a feeling that I cannot easily define and
finding out why they captivate me so much is what holds my gaze. I let
myself fall and let the photo catch me and carry me into a new world.
I feel melancholic, dreamy, calm, longing, happy, warm, exploratory
and, above all, on an emotional journey into myself and into the
world.
As an introvert, I prefer to look through the viewfinder from an
outsider's perspective - I am drawn to inconspicuous, solitary
moments.
